2 STOCKHOLM ..... Arrive
Arlanda Airport today and meet your special Åre bound bus for your
transfer north through Sweden to the Hotel Åregarden or apartment
complex, Fjällby B, both located close to the ski area.
DAY 3 - 8
ÅRE….. One ski resort, five villages, six ski areas! Over
136 prepared runs with 100 kilometers of pistes and 262 kilometers
of cross-country ski tracks make up this vast Swedish winter playground..
Vertical drops reach 3,000 feet with runs of 6 kilometers from top
to bottom. Sixty-six ski lifts provide access to the downhill runs
and a multitude of off-piste options. You will find the Årefjällen
area offers a variety of sightseeing and wintersports opportunities
in traditional Swedish and international style. Try a reindeer ride,
snowmobile safari or the illuminated toboggan run. There is nowhere
like Åre in which to conclude a successful day’s skiing with an
equally successful nightlife. Cut loose with the top Swedish rock
musicians in Bygget—the pleasure palace. Åre is a skiing paradise
for all!
Day 9 - 10 STOCKHOLM.....
Your return motor coach trip to Stockholm will provide a chance
to browse, sightsee and explore one of the most beautiful cities
in Europe. Be sure to visit the Vasa warship, Carl Millesgården,
Gamla Sta’n (Old Town), Skansen, and the Royal Palace (Kungliga
Slottet). Stockholm is a contrast of old and new all built on many
islands.
