Vallée Blanche, the longest glacial
ski run in the world, is a must do. As you quickly climb from 3,379
feet to 12,604 feet on the two-stage Aiguille du Midi cable car,
you’ll admire the Mont Blanc summit, the Bossons Glacier, the Aiguille
Verte and the Drus. The guided descent is over 12 miles long and
takes up to six hours, depending on skiing ability, difficulty of
route and length of photo stops. The glaciers, peaks and couloirs
form a stupendous background to an unforgettable experience.
We will be staying at the four-star,
Hotel Le Hameau Albert 1er, situated in a park-like setting near
the town center. Built in 1903, it was renamed in 1920 after numerous
visits by the King of Belgium. Family-run, the hotel is managed
by Martine and Pierre Carrier. After an invigorating day on the
slopes, pamper yourself at the massage and beauty center, indoor/outdoor
pool, jacuzzi and fitness area. Chef Pierre Carrier’s gastronomique
restaurant is known as the best in Chamonix. Combined with a wine
cellar of more than 20,000 bottles, our dinners are sure to be memorable.
We will also enjoy one group dinner at a local restaurant. The other
three nights are free for you to sample the regional cuisine. Please

By train, Paris is
less than four hours from Geneva! The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre,
Champs Elysees, l’Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, shops, cafes, fine
dining and more await us. Our hotel, the charming Hotel le Régent,
is a former 18th century residence. Its’ location in the heart of
St. Germain-des-Prés is perfect for exploring the entire city.
