Valle Nevado is Chile's newest ski resort located in the midst of the Three Valleys of the Andes, just a short drive from Santiago. With 11,210 acres of skiing terrain, 67 miles of slopes, 43 lifts, and 4000 feet of vertical, this region is made up of the resorts of Valle Nevado, La Parva, El Colorado and Farellones offering the largest skiing area in the southern hemisphere. Valle Nevado itself contains 11 lifts and more than 37 runs. You can choose to just ski in Valle Nevado, or you can purchase a lift pass that encompasses the entire region. Consistent powder snow is the norm, since the base is at 9,922 feet and the summit reaches to 12,040 feet. You will enjoy the vast selection of groomed runs to suite all tastes. Serious skiers will find endless challenges, since sixty percent of the slopes are designated advanced or expert. Heli-skiing and off-piste (out of bounds) skiing are also available for the thrill seeker with daily flights (weather permitting) from the resorts heli pad to the 14,000 foot level peaks!

We'll spend 6 nights at the at the Tres Puntas tourist category hotel or upgrade to the first class Hotel Puerta Del Sol both situated on the slopes, for ski-in, ski-out ease. Incredible skiing, breathtaking scenery, gourmet dine around cui- sine at several specialty restaurants, lively apres-ski activities, nightlife and spacious comfortable accommodations await us at this world class resort!

Santiago and the elegant Hotel Plaza San Francisco will provide a chance to sightsee and explore the capital and explore beyond. There should be ample time to sample great Chilean restaurants, wine tasting and sightseeing. An optional Cat skiing back country program for 3 days will be offered for those wishing to explore more of the Andes!
