PARTY TIME Certain resorts are as famous for their après-ski and nightlife as they are for their fantastic skiing. If sleeping is not a high priority on your vacation, then these resorts are worthy of your consideration. |
|
After a full day of skiing the vast Arlberg region (St. Anton, Lech, Zürs, Stuben and St. Christoph – 88 lifts!), you still have to find the energy to dance on the tables at the slopeside après-ski hot spots, Krazy Kangaruh and Mooser Wirt. In the village, most of the bars and discos stay open until dawn! Make new friends at Bobo’s, the Drop In, Kartouche, the Underground, Stanton Bar, and more. You’ll need a vacation after this vacation!
Includes: airfare between U.S. and Zurich; bus transfers; 7 nights at hotel; plus breakfast and dinner daily (breakfast only at Kirchplatz). |

52 ski lifts, 124 miles of runs, and 3,600 feet of sun-kissed vertical! After skiing and après-ski partying, visit your hotel pool, sauna and steam room. Enjoy a delicious dinner and then explore the village. You’ll need more than a week to visit its 30 cafés, 30 bars and 9 discos! Rumor has it that the bars close when the last guest leaves and turns out the light!
Includes: airfare between U.S. and Munich; one week car rental; 7 nights at 4-star Hotel Ingonda, welcome drink; plus breakfast and dinner daily. |
You’ll earn your relaxation time here! The vast 4 Vallée Ski Arena connects five villages, 100 lifts and 200 miles of runs. The highest cable car rises to the top of the Mont Fort glacier at 10,925 feet. The 6,000 foot descent to the valley floor is awesome. If you love bumps, ski the unbelievable 2,800 foot Tortin mogul field. Your hotel bar, Murphy’s Pub, stays open until the wee hours of the morning and is one of the town’s most popular hangouts.
Includes: airfare between U.S. and Geneva; 2nd class rail; 7 nights at 3-star Garbo Hotel; plus breakfast and dinner daily. |

The Chamonix Valley is comprised of five ski areas and 62 lifts. The most spectacular sight is Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak at 15,770 feet. At night, the light of the Aiguille du Midi lift station (12,660 feet) looks like a star! Hire a local ski guide to find your own piece of heaven in this winter playground. We suggest our friend and part-time Seattle resident, Regis Fleury, of Ski Odyssey. Ski hard and then party at one of the many hot spots - Wild Wallabies, Queen Vic Pub, Poco Loco, The Jekyl, Le Garage, and Chambre Neuf. |
